I was at Bike Radar on Saturday and what a scorcher! I haven't seem the total number of people through the doors to the event but it seemed to be buzzing pretty much all day.

Has anybody got anything to say about the event - Good or Bad?

Me and Mrs Wife had a weekend ticket, and we took part in our first Sportive (50 miles) on Saturday. It was hotter than a hot day in Holtsville but great fun. Enjoyed the weekend, but we did not take part in any of the evening events, mainly 'cos we where to knackered after the ride and then after walking round the event and exhibitions. It was great to see some of the nutters doing great stunts on the different stands, and it was great to see all the new trick gear. My favourite stand was the Cooper Bike stand, I road three of the demo bikes and they where FAB.

It would have been nice to have somewhere quiet to sit and relax for a few minutes, and the bloke on the PA was annoying, mate if you've got nothing interesting and relevant to say SHUT UP!

It was a great weekend and I've already put next year in the diary.

Good to hear from you CarlP

I think the weather was a major contributor to everyone having a good time but I'd like to think there was enough there to entertain people even if the weather wasn't as favourable. It sounds like it was enough for you to want to revisit next year, so that's a good start.

Have you any comments on the todays cyclist site?

As you might have guessed, I'm at the business end of todays cyclist and am keen to hear any feedback or suggestions on the site. As might have been explained to you when you registered, the site was launched only a few weeks ago and is intended to bridge the gap between us as a cycle and accessory distributor and you as a cycling member of the public. We've got some exciting plans for the ongoing development of the site but are also keen to know what you the users want too.

Look forward to hearing from you.
